Rick Arroyo
 $13.99 Rick was born in the Bronx New York. He began playing the Piano at the age of nine, Drums at age eleven, Congas,Timbales and the Vibraphone at age fourteen. Rick Composed and arranged his first song at age eleven and has been writing and arranging songs for 27 years. With 23 years of professional performance, Rick has performed with some of the music industries best in the world. Carlos Rios, Johnny Polanco, (Guitarist ) Jimmy Stewart, Michael Fitzhugh (of Shalomar),Artie Webb, Dick Burk, Louie Miranda, Bobby Matos, Papo Conga, Poncho Roman, Larry White, Ramon Flores, Art Velasco, Francisco Aguabella,Dan Weinstein,Pachito Alonso, to name a few. As a Leader and as a sideman, Rick has recorded and performed both live on television and Radio Simulcast and has recorded in the studio with the likes of Johnny ( Dandy ) Rodriguez (30 years with the Tito Puente Orchestra) and Tata Palau. Both currently on Rick's latest CD On Fire in the Desert. Rick has also recorded with Luis Conte, Karen Briggs, Dick Mitchell, Dan St. Marsais and appeared on Video with Bill Laster (Shades of Jade).
Rick Has performed all through out Southern California - in Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego and Orange County. He's also performed in Denver Colorado, Primm Nevada( State Line ), Laughlin Nevada, Mesquite Nevada, Las Vegas Nevada and had his own show in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino from 1999- 2002 Performing in the Coral Reef Lounge, Latin Jazz and Salsa. |
